Wisynco Group Limited seeks to hire an Accountant to join our Group Finance team. Interested Candidates are invited to apply. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Job Summary:  To ensure that all transactions within the department are made on time, in accordance with terms, properly approved and represent genuine transactions. Assist with the strategic direction of the department

 

Responsibilities:

  • Monthly review of audit schedules and reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
  • Assist with sending monthly expense reports to Execs/Department Heads
  • Review suppliers’ recons
  • Any other duty that may be assigned
  • Supervision of accounts payable staff
  • Assist with implementation of systems improvements
  • Assist with preparation of the annual budget
  • Completion of charts/tables for EMC and Board Reports
  • Assist with analysis of expenses, balance sheet items, etc as required
  • Assist with cost/expense management

 

Reporting to:             Group Financial Controller

 

Required Skills and Knowledge:     

 

       Minimum 1st Degree  or ACCA certified        

       Communication - both in written and oral formats with all levels of staff

       Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

       Flexibility and adaptability

       Organisation and time management

       Supervisory and leadership skills

       Must be an excellent team player

       Eye for details

       Analytical mind
