Bi- Lingual Customer Service Agents  (Call- Center)

 

Overview: Our client is one of the largest service warranty providers in Canada who has been providing support to their national customer base from their modern offices in Barbados for many years. Due to rapid growth, they are seeking to appoint several French/English speaking customer service centric candidates to join the call-center team.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide courteous, prompt, and professional service to customers over the phone with the goal of resolving customer questions and concerns with first contact resolution.
  • Work with peers and management to ensure that customer concerns are addressed in the most efficient manner.
  • Follow up with customers to identify and support their needs.
  • Offer value-added solutions and promote customer loyalty by providing exceptional customer support.
  • Correspond with retailers and customers verbally and electronically.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of new policies, procedures, and products.
  • Process routine clerical transactions in between calls.
  • Communication with the company’s network of professional service providers.

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment required.
  • Professional phone and email etiquette
  • Utmost discretion with confidential customer information.
  • Excellent data entry and keyboarding skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Bilingual language skills (English & French) are an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Superior organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Strong desire to take ownership and accountability of task completion.
  • Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to work effectively with and without supervision.
