Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Commercial Manager to join our team. As a Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's business growth and profitability by overseeing various aspects of our commercial operations. Your primary responsibility will be to lead, manage, and optimize our commercial activities to maximize revenue generation and foster long-term business partnerships. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets, aligning with the company's overall objectives and market trends.
2. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities and address potential challenges.
3. Lead the commercial team, providing guidance and support in sales techniques, negotiations, and customer relationship management.
4. Collaborate with the marketing department to develop effective promotional strategies, pricing models, and sales campaigns to drive customer acquisition and retention.
5. Manage and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and mitigating potential risks.
6. Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and partners, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and repeat business.
7. Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and preferences, and accordingly adapt product/service offerings.
8. Analyze sales data, financial reports, and other performance metrics to make informed business decisions and implement improvements.
9. Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and budgetary plans, closely monitoring financial performance against targets.
10. Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline business processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance overall performance.
11. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, market insights, and revenue opportunities.
12. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the company remains at the forefront of commercial excellence.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
2.Atleast 5 Years experience as a Commercial Manager or in a similar commercial leadership role within the relevant industry.
3. Strong business acumen with a track record of successfully implementing commercial strategies that drive revenue growth.
4. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
5. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, empowering and inspiring the commercial team to achieve exceptional results.
6. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
7. Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management.
8. Familiarity with legal requirements related to commercial activities and contract negotiations.
