Summary

To provide essential support to the President/CEO in managing and advancing the institution's mission, vision, and objectives. This position requires strategic thinking, decision-making, and collaboration in order to increase the college's efficacy and impact.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Schedule Management:

  • Efficiently manage the President's calendar, coordinating and prioritizing appointments, meetings, and events to optimise time and resources.
  • Anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts while ensuring the President's time is allocated to critical initiatives and strategic tasks.

Communication and Correspondence:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including staff, faculty, students, donors, and community members, ensuring effective and professional communication on behalf of the President.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread various documents, including emails, letters, memos, and reports, maintaining a high standard of accuracy and clarity.

Organizational Support:

  • Collaborate with the President to develop and implement organisational strategies, ensuring smooth operations across all campus sites during the period of change.
  • Assist in the coordination of various committees and working groups, gathering information, and preparing materials and reports as required.

Project Assistance:

  • Provide project management support to the President, helping to track progress, deadlines, and milestones for key initiatives.
  • Conduct research and prepare briefings for the President on various topics, assisting in decision-making processes.

Travel Arrangements:

  • Coordinate all travel itineraries for the President, including transportation, accommodations, and meeting arrangements, considering time and cost efficiency.

Confidentiality and Discretion:

  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost professionalism and discretion.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment when dealing with confidential matters, maintaining the trust of the President and the institution.

Event Coordination:

  • Assist in planning and organising institutional events, including board meetings, community engagements, and donor appreciation events

Performs other duties as assigned to support the College’s mission.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Administrative Management, Management or equivalent

Experience 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, including professional phone etiquette and email communication.
  • Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, etc.) and scheduling tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise discretion, and make decisions in the absence of specific instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

 

Location: Grand Turk

Salary - USD 51,179.00 Per Annum

Telephone Allowance - USD 1,200.00 Per Annum

Transport Allowance - USD1,200.00 Per Annum
