SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER

A food manufacturing and distribution company located on the Uriah Butler Highway, Charlieville is seeking a qualified, vibrant and enthusiastic Sales and Marketing Manager for the Supermarket Trade.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and maximize the activities of the sales team whilst pursuing opportunities for expansion and penetration, including the export market
• Visit supermarkets with the Sales Representatives and Merchandisers
• Implement promotional/sampling activities
• Develop, plan and implement efficient and economical delivery routes
• Produce weekly and monthly management reports
• Conduct sales meeting with the Sales Team
• Implement new product and designs for packaging and promotions

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position in the supermarket industry
• Proficient in MS Suite
• Strong interpersonal skills and multi-task oriented
• Must have a good working vehicle
• Must be able to work independently on own initiative
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Knowledge of Sage50 and Graphic Designs will be an asset
