The Cable Bahamas Ltd. Group and ALIV Bahamas are hiring a Emerging Products Manager (Full-Time, Hybrid, Bahamas Based). This is an extremely exciting opportunity to join an innovative and dynamic organization that is changing the game in enabling connected lifestyles & solutions.

Essential Duties:

• Challenge the industry status quo to develop innovative, transformational customer experiences. Identifying new sources of opportunities through prospecting and market research.
• Drive connectivity across the Bahamas; serve as an innovation product development manager enabling connected lifestyles for potential consumers via new product lines. Ability to successfully innovate and deliver transformational change while concurrently prioritizing multiple projects, new opportunities, and roadmap development.
• Identify and develop new technology-based business models and revenue streams for the cable group, grounded in our company’s values, broader customer trends, sound financial frameworks and analysis, with a clear methodology for value creation and KPI tracking.
• Provide screening economics and conducts market research for early phase/ stage gated business opportunities. Develop a comprehensive set of criteria for evaluating emerging technology, alternative, and automation companies in key areas; strategically evaluate potential vendors, partners, and group targets against a set of robust benchmarks.
• Source and evaluate business plans and strategic projects maintaining continuous focus ROI, cost effectiveness / efficiency by taking a leading role in cost reduction initiatives and value maximization.
• Onboard and integrate emerging technology, digitization, and automation companies - working with Procurement, Legal, and other functional teams within the organization as needed to execute contracts, integrate into our business model and/or GTM processes as appropriate.
• Holistic business, product, and design experience in consumer technology products and services with demonstrated knowledge of current trends. Solid understanding of product development life cycle, product management, and experience design.
• Understand the importance of finding win-wins and engaging others in the cycle of developing new initiatives.
• Establish and track budget per project initiative, with accountability for budget performance, partnering with Finance.
• Prime the development and delivery of annual, quarterly, and bi-weekly plans utilized to formulate emerging opportunities roadmap.
• Perform all other related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree: Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Project Management or related areas.

• Strong understanding of telecom products, services, and technologies.

• Experience within a consumer brand, Telecommunications or Utility industry is a plus.

• 4+ years retail and/or product development experience

• Familiarity with market research methodologies and tools.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information to various stakeholders.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive data-driven insights and recommendations.
