SENIOR INVENTORY CONTROL MANAGER The Senior Inventory Control Manager is responsible for maintaining a permanent inventory record of material, equipment, supplies, and other general stock items; does related work in the stores as required.

SENIOR INVENTORY CONTROLLER

The Senior Inventory Control Manager is responsible for maintaining a permanent inventory record of material, equipment, supplies, and other general stock items; does related work in the stores as required.  Under general supervision, this position involves procedures related to purchasing, receiving, and maintaining records of equipment, materials and/or supplies in the factory.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall responsibility for Purchasing, Logistics and Warehousing
• Supervises weekly counts of the inventory.
• Conduct quarterly stock report for submission to the CEO & CFO
• Purchasing inventory and non-inventory, local and foreign
• Logistics-imports, exports, and local receipts
• Warehousing-all three divisions (and factory)
• Ensure that all purchase requisitions are effectively auctioned
• Responsible for consolidation of imports
• Liaise with a customs broker, haulage contractors, Jamaica Customs and also RPD to ensure smooth clearance and delivery of imports
• Liaise with the export department to secure the most cost-effective, appropriate methods for export
• Ensure proper filing of all supply chain-related documents
• Receipt/Costing
• Responsible for safe and secure storage of companies’ inventories
• Maintain supplier data
• Maintain product data
• Renaming/coding of items
• Provide periodic reports on inventory counts to Financial Cont. noting any variances between physical count and quick book balances
• Responsible for determining minimum inventory level and re-order level
• Responsible for organizing and supervising annual stock count and the checking of these counts with Quick book balances
• Ensure that management information is readily available
• All other duties assigned

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

(a)  Education:

•   Bachelor’s   Degree in Inventory / Equivalent

•   Certified in Supervisory Management

•   Certified in Inventory Management

(b)   Experience:

•   A minimum of five (5) years of Management related experience

•   Experience in Inventory Control Management
