Crypto Portfolio Data Administrator

Position Overview

 

The Crypto Portfolio Data Administrator will operate in a fast-paced dynamic environment. The position holder will undertake the management and reconciliation of financial assets such as (but not limited to), equities, bonds, forex, options, Crypto and decentralized finance strategies.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  1. Manage and maintain the daily trades from exchanges and brokers.
  2. Reconcile funds’ investment holdings to the exchange, broker, or other external sources on a weekly basis.
  3. Ensure cash is reconciled on a weekly basis.
  4. Assist in troubleshooting cash and/or investment holdings breaks and ensure they are cleared at month end.
  5. Establish security masters for investments such as (but not limited to) bonds, equities, crypto assets, SAFE/SAFT.
  6. Ensure that all assets are priced correctly at month end in accordance with the fund’s pricing policy.
  7. Liaise with the Fund Accountant for any reconciliation assistance and support such as required reports.
  8. Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

 

Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification would be an asset.
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in the finance industry.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in the auditing field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Working knowledge of accounting software.
