Reconciliation Officer

Reconciliation Officer

Purpose of the Job

Support the prevention of financial inconsistencies through the timely preparation of reconciliations for bank and supplier to enable prompt identification and resolution of discrepancies.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly bank and supplier reconciliations
  • Investigate and recommend corrections for variances to ensure timely resolutions
  • Creation of journals to correct issues identified during the completion of the prior month's reconciliation
  • Analyze and input data for end of day cash reports
  • Effective monitoring of automated clearing house payments and account transfers

Minimum Education & Experience

  • BSc Degree in Accounts or Finance, or AAT Level II
  • 1 year Accounting experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of Accounting and Microsoft tools
