Securities Analyst, Industry Risk

The FSC has an immediate opening for the position of Securities Analyst, Industry Risk (Contract).
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Manager Special Projects Analytics & Surveillance, the Analyst (Industry Risk), assists with the administration of certain regulatory programs under the Securities Act.
The Analyst, Industry Risk evaluates the financial health and risk exposures of the securities industry which includes securities, investment advisors, collective investment schemes, the stock exchange, inst. The Analyst, Industry Risk prepares statistical, industry and economic outlook papers, analytical reports, briefing memoranda and correspondence.
The Analyst, Industry Risk advises the Senior Analysts and Managers, and is responsible for identifying signs of financial weakness, emerging risks in the regulated entities through assessments and advise by written report. The Analyst, Industry Risk also has responsibility for answering routine inquiries and correspondence and preparing responses.
