The Traffic Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Traffic Department.

A media company is seeking an experienced, qualified and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of

TRAFFIC OFFICER

The Position will require the candidate to:

   Must reside in the parish of St. Ann

  • Finalize business track report daily and submit to Accounts Receivables Officer.
  • Complete traffic reconciliation report.
  • Check commercial and production sheets
  • Enter contracts information into traffic software
  • Check to ensure all advertisement ordered correspond with Billing
  • Export billing to accounts receivables
  • Compiles log (broadcast schedule) of commercial and public-service spot announcements, using computer
  • Reviews on-air time sales orders and public-service announcements to verify completeness of data required for log
  • Reviews sponsors' requests for specific dates and times of announcements, and recommends alternate dates and times, or keys information into computer to revise log to avoid conflicts.
  • Enters information into computer to compose daily log and prints and distributes log to relevant personnel and on-air talent.
  • Reviews daily log after use for authorized changes made during broadcast date.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Two years of experience in traffic department with automated broadcast traffic system preferred
  • Comfortable working in a challenging fast paced, demanding environment
  • Self-driven professional, with good organization, time management and follow up skills
  • The ability to multi-task with a high attention for detail
  • Proficiency in written and oral communication
  • Demonstrated data entry skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
