Job Summary:
The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for coordinating the financial close process of JMMB Bank JMMB Express Finance and JMMB FHC and TT country consolidation, and analyzing, preparing financial reports to key stakeholders. The incumbent ensures an efficient payment process including administering and maintaining proper controls in the execution of the end to end payment process.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Coordinates and executes the month-end close process for JMMB Bank, JMMB Express Finance, JMMB FHC and the ultimate TT Country consolidated reporting.
Coordinates and prepares monthly financial statements ensuring accurate financial reporting of the entities’ operations.

Coordinates the annual statutory audit exercise for the above entities with our external auditors in order to meet regulatory reporting deadlines. Supports in the preparation of the audited financial statements in line with IFRS within the stipulated deadline for the year end closing.
Oversees the maintenance of the entities’ fixed assets ensuring regular asset verification and writeoff of obsolete items.
Responsible for processing vendor payments through the Oracle system as designated for TT country within the stipulated internal guidelines and service level agreements.
Manages the growth and development of the Financial Reporting Analyst and Payables Officer through coaching, guidance and performance management.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Education & Certification):
A degree in Accounting or ACCA
Experience:
At least 5 years Accounting experience in a Financial Institution.
At least 3 years supervisory experience in an Accounting team
Practical experience in preparing financial statements, calculation of monthly, quarterly and annual statutory payments.
A working knowledge and understanding of the economic environment, banking and financial services industry and general business environment.
Good knowledge of audit and accounting procedures.
