Managing Director.

Our Client, an Organisation in the Manufacturing Sector, is seeking to fill the position of Managing Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the development and refinement of long/medium-term strategies for the organisation, by partnering with the board and leading the senior management team
• Drive the performance in the organisation through the production of an annual business plan translated into goals and objectives for each Department and action plans and targets for Middle Management and junior staff.
• Direct, plan, or implement policies, objectives, or activities of the organisation to ensure continuing operations, to maximize returns on investments, and to increase productivity.
• Analyse operations to evaluate performance of the organisation and the staff in meeting objectives or to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, and policy change.
• Leverage and develop relationships with the business community and other partners, working to retain and expand business and business lines.
• Ensure the completion and submission of reports to the Board, other relevant stakeholders, and government offices/ statutory bodies as required to facilitate decision making and compliance with the relevant legislation.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• BSc or equivalent in Engineering, Finance or Marketing
• Minimum of five years at a Senior Management level, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
