REPORTS TO:Human Resources Manager
LOCATION:Head Office, Chaguanas
TYPE:Full-Time, Contract
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Recruiter will provide support with delivering full-cycle recruitment across all levels of the organization, utilizing effective recruitment plans for available positions, and leveraging creative sourcing channels in addition to traditional ones. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best candidates for all open positions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Understand the business and work with the Human Resource Manager and Hiring Managers in order to develop the most effective recruitment plan.
• Assist with developing comprehensive job descriptions.
• Post positions appropriately; whether in the newspaper, professional associations, internet sites, etc.
• Effectively pre-screen, interview and select the most suitable candidates.
• Provide timely and personalized communication to candidates, keeping them informed about their application status and next steps in the recruitment process.
• Conduct reference, background checks, and employment verifications as required.
• Assist in creating and sending job offers and packages.
• Assist in creating and forwarding rejection letters.
• Maintain all relevant interview and candidate data in the Human Resource Information System.
• Proactively build and maintain a talent pipeline to ensure a steady pool of potential candidates for future vacancies.
• Network with industry contacts, associations, schools, and other affiliated bodies to develop creative sourcing channels.
• Provide support with employing various sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualifies candidates, including social media, professional networks, referrals, and direct sourcing.
• Contribute to developing and fostering the brand of the company during networking and recruitment initiatives.
• Perform other duties as they arise.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge/Experience
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least five (5) CXC O’Level passes, including Math and English A.
• A minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in the field of Human Resources and/or specifically in Recruitment.
• Experience working with a Human Resource Information System.
• General knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
• Knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing strategies, and candidate assessment techniques.
• Technical savvy- advances shills in MS office applications, including Excel and Power point.
• Experience working in a dynamic environment.
