ZIP 103 FM is seeking suitable candidates for the position of Graphic Artist. The graphic artist is expected to produce original graphics for a variety of platforms.

JOB DESCRIPTION: GRAPHIC ARTIST   

ZIP 103 FM is seeking suitable candidates for the position of Graphic Artist. The graphic artist is expected to produce original graphics for a variety of platforms including websites, TV, print advertising, social media, magazines, flyers, brochures, posters, computer games, product packaging, vehicle exhibitions and displays, and corporate communications.  

 Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Creating designs and producing still and animated graphics, based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts. 
• Creating and editing short videos 
• Conferring with team/project leaders to discuss, determine and decide on layout design and requirements. 
• Creating appealing weekly content for social media platforms
• Development of graphic plans for social spaces with the change of seasons and holidays  
• Required to liaise with printers, web developers and other external suppliers to ensure the appropriate format of graphics for use. 
• May be required to engage in activities to capture images including photography 
• Required to act as relief for Social Media Coordinator 
• Required to work as part of the team with copywriters, other designers, marketing, Events Coordinator, and executives. 
• Expected to be efficient with multi-tasking and time management 
• Keen attention to deadlines and due dates 
• Perform other related duties assigned 

Work Conditions 

• Travel: Not a regular feature of the job, however, travel arrangements will be made accordingly 
• Working hours: Office hours but deadlines may require additional hours to be worked. You will also be on call for weekends and holidays as the need arises in some cases with very little notice.
