Accounting Assistant (Grenada)
Overview: Our client is one of the leading suppliers of professional services to the corporate market
across the Caribbean region. Due to growth, they are seeking to add a competent Accounting Assistant to
the team based in Grenada.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain the financial records and related documents.
• Generate bank balances to the management team.
• Prepare bank deposits and to ensure payments are applied to customer accounts/invoices on a
timely basis.
• Provides administrative support to management team.
• Reviews and orders office stationery as necessary.
• Coordination of foreign shipment documents.
• Monitoring received inventory documentation.
• Distribution of goods to the various departments.
• Generating sales invoices when required.
• Preparation of the monthly statutory deductions
• Preparing monthly management accounts.
• To assist sales in setting up appointments/site surveys, over-the-counter sales and cold calling.
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
• Must hold min. BSC. In Accounting, ideally part qualified ACCA
• Held a similar role in a services-based organisation.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and associated MS-Soft applications
• Self-motived and good communication skills
