We are looking for a qualified and competent Accountant to Join our Team.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
ü At least a First Degree in either: Business Administration, Management Studies, Finance or Accounting
ü A minimum of three (3) year’s working experience with exposure to general Accounting Theory, Principles and Practices. At least One(1) years’ experience in a Customer centric organization;
ü Professional qualification at ACCA level1& 11, would be an asset;
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
ü Sound knowledge of current Accounting techniques and practices;
ü Knowledge of Statutory regulations and requirements
ü Working knowledge of Accounting Software packages and applications including Peach Tree OR QuickBooks.
ü Working knowledge of Office procedures, practices and techniques
ü Knowledge of the Theories, procedures and practices pertaining to Accounting principles and practices.
ü Knowledge of International Financial & Accounting Standards
REQUIRED SKILLS AND SPECIALISED TECHNIQUES
ü Excellent listening, investigative, decision making and analytical skills; High regard for accurate and neat records maintenance.
ü Excellent Time Management and Human Relations skills;
ü Ability to work well on own initiative, under pressure and meet tight deadlines Pleasant manner, clear speaking voice, and exceptional Telephone Techniques;
ü Must be proficient in Microsoft suite of applications with particular reference to Advance Excel & spreadsheet applications and QuickBooks or other relevant software applications.
ü High attention to detail, neatness, commitment to accuracy and the meeting of deadlines.
ü Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work assignments to meet deadlines.
ü A track record which will attest to excellent performance levels, mental soundness, high regard for deadlines and timelines and Team collaboration,
ü The ability to establish rapport and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
ü Ability to assimilate and disseminate relevant information, think critically and effectively resolve problems.
ü Must be a Team Player with sound coordinating and organizing skills.

ü Effective interpersonal, customer relations and communication skills with emphasis on oral and written communication.
