Core Functions

  • Direct and drive large cross-functional teams engaged in the implementation of diverse and complex enterprise-wide projects.

-                      Define scope, objectives and ground rules for projects.

-                      Define process and product quality metrics and monitor progress 

-                      Develop strategies for achieving successful project implementation.

-                      Manage project risks and estimate both budget and human resources needed to fulfil on goals.

-                      Establish and plan key milestones to guide scheduling of detailed activities.

-                      Set-up communication cadence and dynamics

-                      Plan and facilitate kick-off and closure activities.

 

  • Assist in fostering buy-in and support for objectives and overcoming barriers to project success.

-                      Develop means and timetable for updating executives, unit management and other stake-holders on project progress and facilitate their involvement and input as necessary/relevant.

-                      Share vision and foster a sense of partnership with all stake-holders.

 

  • Fully accountable for meeting overall project objectives, including goals of project delivery timeframes, budgetary constraints, benefits delivery facilitation and high quality delivery

-           Evaluate and provide guidance regarding strategy adjustments that address project impediments.

-                      Ensure the establishment and adherence to already existing guidelines to ensure budgetary targets are met.

 

  • Coach and give project team direction in meeting overall project/business goals; maintain a positive team dynamic and experience throughout majority of project.

-                      Set tone of professionalism and teamwork in department.

-                      Provide constructive feedback to team members.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, and Social Sciences Graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum six (6) years’ work experience; four (4) of which must be at Senior Project Management level.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or certified training in Project Management, with at least five (5) years’ business experience leading people.
