About Cabot Saint Lucia:
Consistent with the success of the highly decorated Cabot Cape Breton, Cabot Saint Lucia offers spectacular golf, jaw-dropping natural beauty, a boutique resort, a residential community located on a spectacular 375-acre peninsula, and an incredible member and guest experience.
The property will feature a magnificent Coore & Crenshaw-designed 18-hole golf course and a stunning collection of residences ranging from hillside townhomes to expansive single-family homes and customizable beachfront lots. Cabot Saint Lucia broke ground on phase one of development in the summer of 2019. The Point Hardy Golf Club is set to open in 2023.
Position Overview:
As the Director of Talent and Culture at Cabot, you will model our corporate values of respect, integrity, teamwork and empowerment – and your leadership will facilitate extraordinary careers and lasting memories for your T+C and resort teams. You will partner with the GM and Talent & Culture leadership to develop and implement a talent strategy to support the growth and development of Cabot Saint Lucia. You will lead on cultural practices and provide expertise and support in Talent and Organisation Development including Leadership Development , Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion, Policy and Procedure Development, and HR Compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a business partner to Cabot Leaders to support organisation design to drive the Cabot Saint Lucia growth strategy
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operation of the Talent and Culture Department, as well as play a critical role in the implementation of Cabot’s Talent and Culture strategy
- Develop, implement and drive a Talent Acquisition strategy to meets the workforce plans of Cabot Saint Lucia
- Review, develop and implement people policies to drive a high performing organisation
- Act as an internal coach and advisor for senior leaders to maximize leadership effectiveness
- Develop and champion employee programmes which drive positive employee experiences
- Partner with CSL people leaders to develop a culture which supports Cabot’s vision and purpose
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop awareness and position Cabot’s employment brand
- Effectively develop and manage the T&C Budget
- Ensure compliance with relevant local employment laws and internal policies and procedures
- Develop strong relationships with external stakeholders to meet Cabot’s talent requirements
- Actively participate in the Saint Lucia Tourist & Hospitality HR Directors Committee
- Develop and implement strategies to increase Diversity and Inclusion within the organization
- Assess organisational needs, develop aligned human resource solutions and implement strategies in the areas of employee relations, compensation and benefits, recognition, administration and employee wellness
- Interpret and analyze HR metrics and provide reports that support effective decision-making in specified areas
- Promote positive employee relations through an environment that encourages open communication, trust, mutual respect and fun
- Assist Departmental Leaders and Senior Managers with the development of specific action plans to address issues and concerns identified in employee feedback
- Effectively develop and manage the annual human resource budget
- Balance operational, administrative and employee needs
- Adhere to all policies, procedures and service standards
- Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and implement people safety policies
- Other projects and duties as assigned by management
Experience, Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 3 years previous Human Resources leadership experience at the Director level required
- CPHR/CIPD designation or working towards
- Proven experience in a pre-opening or start -up environment
- Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
- Ability to connect, manage and influence at all levels
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required
- University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
