WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities.
• Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.
• Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
• Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels.
• Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, damage, defective parts, missing items and deliveries for accuracy.
• Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
• Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse and the related equipments.
• Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment.
• Keeping the warehouse area clean and organized.
• Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers.

Required Qualifications

• Certified in logistics, supply chain, warehouse management or another training.

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
•  A minimum of three (3) years of related experience in distribution of goods.
• Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
• Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Well organized, detail oriented with excellent follow-up

Additional Job Requirements:

• Certified to operate a forklift (mandatory)
