Reporting to the Commercial Team Lead, the Pre-sales executive is responsible for the execution of all Traditional Trade activities, contributing to the achievement of the distribution and volume objectives for both PCJ and Red Stripe portfolio island-wide in all channels

      Major Responsibilities

  • Carries out scheduled visits to customers as per journey plan and assigned routes
  • Performs QDVPPP and RRESCAPP daily to effectively meet Pepsi & Red Stripe targets
  • Delivers distribution, volume, and cost per case objectives for the assigned channel and/or region monthly and for the fiscal year
  • Participates in Stock control and turnover
  • Manages the relationship management with Traditional Trade customers.
  • Efficiently handles monthly Collections and reduction of Aged Debt.
  • Performs in office planning and tracking of targets
  • Attends daily Morning Meetings and One-on-One
  • Settlement of Handheld daily in a timely manner as per CBL sales office objectives
  • Adheres to the safety regulations for the role as prescribed by the business and complies with all company policies
  • Any other responsibilities as required by the business

 

 Specialized knowledge, skills, and training required:

  • Good knowledge of the Jamaican Beverage Industry and its market mechanics as well as, a basic understanding of the traditional trade channel landscape
  • A self-driven professional with good time management & follow-up skills.
  • High attention to details around order capturing and all administration tasks
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for Sales with the ambition to grow the business by developing great customer partnerships. Showing the ability to turn a customer objection into a win-win solution.
  • Comfortable with working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, being open to challenges, changes, and have a can-do attitude.


 

Academic qualifications and experience required for the job:

  • A minimum of 4 CXC’s Mathematics and English Language a Must; Diploma in Business favorable
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a FMCG sales role
  • Own or have full access to a reliable, road worthy Motor Bike
  • Have a valid Motor Bike Driver’s License

 

Working Condition: (e.g. dust, dirt, heat, abnormal hours, frequent travel, overtime, etc.)

  • Predominantly 8:30 am – 4:30 pm; may be required to work outside the set work hours
  • Will be exposed to a Distribution Center & Warehouse environment, at an occasional frequency
  • Frequent to moderate walking short/long distances within the Distribution Center, Office and Warehouse areas
  • Frequent traveling requirements, CBL Head Office and Distribution Center
  • Occasional exposure to forklifts & delivery trucks within the Warehouse area
  • Wearing of appropriate PPE gear required for normal daily function
