Jnr Accountant

Job Scope
This role will entail making entries in different accounts, reviewing, classifying and recording documents, cash balances, inventories, cash accounts, payments, and keeping up to date with the accounting movements carried out in the center.

Responsibilities

• Keep control of income and expense accounts and issue reports regarding results;
• Archive accounting documents for use and internal control;
• Receive income, void checks and payment orders by assigning the receipt number;
• Streamline accounting records and supervise that they are kept up to date;
• Perform cash transactions; 
• Carry out inventory preparation;
• Secure and confirm customer payments, deposits and checks in bank accounts;
• Responsible for payable accounts and balances, with support from the Dominican Republic operation;
• Complete other tasks that are assigned directly aimed at improving the performance of the area and the company with the commercial sales team.

Requirements

• University Degree (Accounting and Finance);
• Minimum 1 years of accounting experience;
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Office, Excel, BI);
• Inventory and management of cash registers;
• Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment and Control (IPERC). Identification of Significant Environmental Aspects;
• Ability to communicate in Spanish is desirable but not required;
• Ability to travel outside of the country at times (mainly for training period).
