Core Functions
• Establish and plan key transaction execution milestones to ensure timely and effective execution of Investment Banking transactions.
• Develop strategies to minimize timeline slippage and transaction execution risks.
• Develop financial models to evaluate transactions for raising capital including but not limited to the issuance of debt and equity, both publicly and privately.
• Coordinate and manage the due diligence process between the prospective client and various stakeholders including attorneys and accountants.
• Perform valuation on potential companies seeking IPO and private equity transactions.
• Analyze the credit worthiness and financial health of potential clients seeking to raise capital and provide recommendations.
• Coordinate the process of preparing investor documentation.
• Prepare transaction and regulatory reports for the FSC, JSE and BOJ.
• Ensure that all transaction documents are distributed to the relevant internal stakeholders to ensure transaction set-up in the various systems as well as for Wealth Management’s distribution to clients.
• Assist with secondary structuring and the execution of Investment Banking transaction.
• Coordinate transaction activities among internal and external stakeholders such as counsels, auditors and regulators.
• Assist the corporate syndication team with the deal syndication process.
• Execute post deal documentation process to ensure full completion of transaction.

Qualifications & Experience
• Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Banking, Finance or related areas.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ working experience in a related field .
• Knowledge of research, financial and credit analysis as well as debt and equity valuation.
• Strong knowledge of the financial services industry with more detailed exposure to investment banking.
• Sound knowledge of project management skills and standards.
