Inventory Supervisor

He/She will be responsible for monitoring the productivity of staff and managing the adequacy of inventories in a warehouse or distribution center settings

 Inventory Supervisor

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversees team of inventory or warehouse employees.
• Manages inventory tracking system.
• Evaluates inventory levels to improve inventory control procedures.
• Analyzes inventory daily to identify over stock and slow moving item.
• Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.
• Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
• Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency and personnel issues to upper management.
• Manages the recruitment and training of new inventory employees and evaluate existing staff (Clerks etc).
• Plan and execute inventory counts ( Random, Cycle and Year End)
• Any other duties

Inventory Supervisor Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Previous experience as an Inventory Supervisor or related position
• Verbal and written communication
• Organizational and logistics skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Problem solving
• Data analysis
• Interpersonal ability
