Internship Programme

Overview:

The Internship programme provides a method by which students can understand the relevance of academics in relation to what it takes to be successful in the workplace. Our internships also provide students with focused and structured work experience with the responsibility for meeting timelines, making decisions, and working in teams. Through the Programme, students have the opportunity to develop a foundation of general workplace skills and are able to acquire information and skills in their chosen career cluster.

Eligibility for the programme is as follows:

• Be between the ages 18 to 24 years old.
• Possess a TRN and NIS card
• Possess a Food Handler's permit
• Possess or pursuing a HEART Level 2 certification in HEART Commercial Food Preparation or Equivalent
• Be available between the hours of 8:15 am and 5:15 pm
