Designing, implementing, and maintaining system integrations that facilitate seamless data exchange and communication across diverse systems and middleware within the organization whilst also performing data analysis to assist with overall analytics and data lakes.

Job Duties:

• Assist in the design of integration solutions based on business requirements and architectural guidelines.
• Participate in the development, configuration, testing and deployment of integration solutions using established tools and techniques.
• Investigate and resolve integration issues, errors, and discrepancies by identifying root causes and implementing resolutions in collaboration with the technical team.
• Provide technical support to users in solving integration related issues.
• Create and maintain documentation including integration requirements, design specifications and process flows.
• Collaborate with testing and QA teams to define test scenarios, conduct integration and system testing, and ensure the reliability, accuracy, and quality of integration solutions.
• Monitor integration processes and performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement and implementing enhancements to improve efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose innovative solutions to enhance integration processes.
• Liaise with external vendors, project resources and service providers to coordinate integration projects and resolve issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
•   A minimum of three (3) years’ practical on-the-job experience is required for acceptable proficiency.
•  Experience in integration or business analysis, design, and implementation within enterprise environments.
•  Proficiency in Web Service protocols/ API would be an asset.
• Knowledge of data formats such as XML and JSON.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Requirements

Non-residents must possess a Caricom Skills Certificate or attain the applicable work permits and be willing to relocate to Barbados.
