The Instructor is responsible for training, delivery, assessment and monitoring of TVET trainees to ensure the acquisition of the requisite competencies for their respective qualification.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
ü A Bachelor’s Degree, its equivalent NVQJ Level 5 or other equivalent qualification in your area of specialization
ü At least two (2) years relevant work experience in a comparable position such as in a technical high school, a polytechnic college, a community college, a formal apprenticeship training workplace, or the training unit of a large organization
ü Knowledge in IT, equipment, machinery/tools that the job required
ü Ability to work with colleagues to review curriculum

KEY DUTIES:
ü Instructs courses in areas of specialization
ü Works with trainees who are studying for a certificate or certification or are taking classes to improve their knowledge or career skills
ü Develops instructional plans according to required standards for the course(s)
ü Prepares training, delivery and assessment plan
ü Works with colleagues to develop or modify the curriculum for a certificate program involving a series of courses
ü Provides career guidance (where applicable)
ü Pursues continuing education about changes and innovations in his/her field of specialization
ü Completes industry furlough as per specification
ü Serves on academic and administrative committees that review and recommend policies
ü Participates in internal moderation and validation of test items
ü Coordinates and supervise TBE activities
ü Prepares attitudinal monitoring and completers listing
ü Monitors, maintains and implements safety requirement as per Organization and skill requirement
ü Develops flexible modality/online course content
