The inside sales representative uses a sales process to understand the needs of customers, Outline the features of products and propose the best possible solution. The Representative is responsible for answering questions with utmost care and cross sell and/or upsell as needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following,

 

  • Respond to inbound phone calls and sales inquiries in a timely efficient and professional manner
  • Grasp and maintain expert knowledge of the products and features of the product line
  • Cross sell and upsell as needed
  • Maintain established quota standards for each product line as defined by the needs of the company
  • Accurately and efficiently use multiple computer applications to process work orders and obtain customer information
  • Performs multiple tasks simultaneously while on the phone with customers
  • Maintains professional and respectful conduct when interacting with customers and co-workers
  • Perform Salesforce documentation, updates, and corrections
  • Maintain the highest possible level of customer service and sales integrity

Required Skills

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; and any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties.
  • At least one (1) year experience in sales

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast-changing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Access
  • Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy
  • Requires a flexible schedule that will include weekends

 

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit.  Minimum physical exertion.  Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis.  Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 75% of the work period while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, mouse, 10-key calculator, phone and similar machines.

 

Work Environment

Usual office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is typical of most office environments with telephones, personal interruptions, and background noises.
