  Information Technology Teacher (High - School) - St. Maarten Region 

As an Information Technology Teacher you would focus on a combination of technical expertise, 
effective teaching strategies and a deep commitment to fostering students’ understanding of core IT 
concepts. This includes empowering students with knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in the 
ever-evolving world of technology.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master's degree with a specialization in the subject areas, a teaching certificate, familiarity with CXC syllabus is an asset.
• Minimum 3 years of experience at the secondary level.
• Strong communication, curriculum development, classroom management and assessment techniques.

Tasks:

• Teaching computer hardware, software, networking, programming languages and other related topics.
• Prepare lesson plans, conduct lectures and implement practical sessions to provide a hands- on
• experience to students.
• Use a variety of teaching methodologies and educational tools to enhance the learning experience.
• and engage with students effectively.
• Assess students by conducting test, assignments and project work.
• Provide feedback and assistance to students who are struggling to grasp the concepts.
• Encourage students to think creatively and critically about the use and implications of technology in the
• Morden world.
