Information Technology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Technology Specialist to join our company. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to clients, resolving software-related issues, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance our software. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, coding proficiency, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support and assistance to clients, helping them troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues.

2. Collaborate with the development team to identify and fix bugs or glitches in the software.

3. Assist clients in setting up and configuring software systems according to their specific requirements.

4. Conduct software trainings and workshops for clients, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of the product.

5. Draft technical documentation and user manuals to guide clients in using the software effectively.

6. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements to ensure the software meets client expectations.

7. Work closely with the development team to gather client feedback and provide suggestions for software improvement.

8. Attend client meetings or product demonstrations as needed.

9. Continuously enhance product knowledge and technical skills through self-learning and professional development opportunities.

 

Required Skills:

1. Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex software systems and databases.

2. Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve software and database issues efficiently.

3. Proficient coding skills in relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, PHP) to provide technical support.

4. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.

5. Customer service orientation with the ability to empathize and remain patient while supporting clients.

6. Detail-oriented mindset to document and follow up on client interactions accurately.

7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

8. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to assess client requirements and suggest appropriate solutions.

 

Relevant Experience and Education:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field would be advantageous.

2. Previous experience in a technical support role, software development, Help Desk or software testing would be beneficial.

3. Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, is preferred.

4. Knowledge of databases (MySQL, SQL), API integration, or web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
