Job Purpose
The IT Analyst and Data Protection Officer (DPO) is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the company's IT infrastructure and overseeing data protection and compliance activities. This includes supporting and maintaining the SAP ERP system, supporting end-users, integrating various IT systems, managing network security devices, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.


Key Responsibilities

1 SAP ERP System Management:
• Maintain and optimize the SAP ERP system to support business operations.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop custom reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.

2 System Integration:
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP ERP and other systems, including email (Microsoft Outlook), payroll and HR management systems, customer service telephone systems, and inventory management systems.
• Work with third-party vendors to manage integrations and resolve issues.

3 Technical Support:
• Provide technical support to end-users across multiple locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage user accounts and permissions in various systems.

4 Network Management:
• Administer and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, access points (AP), and phone systems.
• Manage and configure Fortinet devices to ensure robust network security and optimal performance.
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.

5 Project Management:
• Support and participate in IT projects aimed at improving system functionality and efficiency.
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop project plans.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

6 Data Management and Security:
• Ensure the integrity and security of data across all systems.
• Maintain data backup and disaster recovery plans.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

7 Data Protection Officer (DPO) Responsibilities:
• Oversee the company's data protection strategy and its implementation to ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g. DPA).
• Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures.
• Conduct data protection impact assessments (DPIAs).
• Monitor compliance with data protection laws and internal policies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for data protection authorities and individuals whose data is processed by the        company.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on data protection practices.

8 Training and Documentaion:
• Develop and deliver training programs for end-users on various IT systems.
• Create and maintain documentation for IT procedures, policies, and system configurations.

Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on ERP systems(preferably SAP).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, payroll and HR management systems, customer service telephone systems, and inventory management systems.
• Experience with system integration and data migration projects.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to support cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of data security principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of data protection laws and regulations (DPA).
• Experience managing and administering network devices, including switches, firewalls, AP, and phone systems, particularly with Fortinet devices.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a multi-location retail or distribution environment.
• Familiarity with SQL and database management.
• Fortinet certification or equivalent experience with Fortinet devices.

Working Conditions
• Office environment with occasional travel to different locations.
• May require after-hours and weekends support during system updates or emergencies
