Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Client Data Management team in the capacity of:
Indexing Assistant
Utilize the imaging application in the capturing of data to facilitate the prompt adjudication of claims.
Provide administrative support with special responsibilities for electronically submitted claims.
Location: Kingston
As an Indexing Assistant, you will:
- Perform administrative functions in the department, especially as it relates to electronically submitted health claims.
- Index claims as the need arises and input data from claims forms to the indexing application.
- Utilize GIAS to correct, verify or complete the information required.
- Scan all the health claims indexed:
- Create barcodes, scan and forward for payment.
- Assist with document preparation, mail and queries, in the claims registry, as the need arises.
- Prepare a monthly productivity report.
- Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- Minimum of a six (6) CXC general proficiency subjects including English Language and a numeric subject.
- Successful completion of the LOMA/HIA 1 and 2 designations.
- One (1) year working experience in an operations division
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Working knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheets and word processing applications.
- Must possess extensive knowledge of the GIAS Application.
- Excellent keyboarding skills.
