IT Support Specialist

Oversee and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, provide support to IT support staff. Ensure stability, integrity and efficient operation of in-house information systems and network infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor, maintain and support business applications, network work performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
• Assist with management of user accounts, permissions and access rights,
• Assist with IT support ticket systsem
• Assist with designing, implementing and maintaining network infrastructure including LAN, WAN and wireless systems.
• Assist with installing, configuring and updating server and software 
• Assist with implementing security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software and intrusion detection systems.
• Manage and optimize virtualization platforms.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery systems and processes.
• Perform regulr system updtes and security patches.
• Document network configurqtions, processes and procedures.
• Develop and implement IT support policies and procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to IT support staff and report on iT support metrics and team performance.
