IT MANAGER

Summary:        Under the direction of the Managing Director, the IT Manager evaluates existing systems, test and optimize functionality of the systems, networks and data; and define technical requirements. The IT Manager plans and develops new and improved IT specialties to meet the company’s needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promote and implement new technologies to enhance operational needs
• Implement and maintain standardized IT policies and procedures
• Ensure the integrity, availability, and security of the system
• Analyze existing business process systems and recommend solutions
• Conduct IT audits, reviews, and assessment of controls
• Create and implement budgets for IT projects and operations
• Ensure compliance with security and confidentiality standards
• Coordinate IT project activities with internal departments and external vendors
• Ensuring data storage is safe and secure
• Resolving all issues coworkers have with the IT network
• Educating coworkers about network security and best practices for computer usage
• Supporting the day-to-day operations of our computer network, IT systems and software.

Requirements and Skills:

• BSc. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
• Proven experience as a database administrator or similar experience
• Knowledge of database management systems
• Knowledge of Cisco Network
• Knowledge of networking routers and switches
• Knowledge of biometric system
