Chancellor Insurance Agency is seeking INSURANCE SALES ADVISORS and BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICERS to join our team.

We are a multi-line organisation, offering a wide range of insurance products and services which include individual and group life insurance, health insurance, pension and general insurance.

We are inviting passionate, driven, goal-oriented individuals to join our team as INSURANCE SALES ADVISORS and BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICERS.

Requirements:

The ideal INSURANCE SALES ADVISOR must:

  • Be 25 years or older
  • Have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable motor vehicle
  • Be passionate, driven, goal and career oriented
  • Have a desire to earn an uncapped commission
  • Have good communication, client/customer service and presentation skills
  • Have strong sales skills with a proven ability to prospect and close

The ideal BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER must:

  • Have good communication, client/customer service and presentation skills
  • Have strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven ability to prospect and close
  • Have an ability to communicate effectively at the senior level within organizations
  • Be computer literate (sufficient to produce reports and spreadsheets)
  • Have a valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable motor vehicle
  • Familiarity with the Employee Benefits market and products will be an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Offer specialized financial guidance and advice to clients.
  • Complete accurate financial needs analysis and create and explain customized plans.
  • Assess clients’ financial portfolios and analyse associated risks.
  • Pursues opportunities to secure business with enthusiasm.
  • Prospects and sells new business via leads, cold canvassing and other techniques used to expand market share.
  • Builds and maintains strategic relationships, seeks new opportunities through networking, as well as keeps abreast of industry developments to inform business decisions.
  • Achieves or surpasses personal and organizational KPIs as set out by the Company
  • Reports on field activities and KPIs as required

 Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 CXCs (Diploma or tertiary level education will be an asset)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Sales or Marketing (field sales preferably)
  • FLMI or equivalent qualification will be an asset for Business Development Officers
