ICT COORDINATOR - ON CONTRACT

The ICT Coordinator is responsible for directing and controlling the development, implementation and maintenance of the Company’s information technology systems to support the business objectives of the company.

Some Duties/ Responsibilities include:
1. Developing and implementing an information technology strategy to support the financial and business
    objectives of the company.
2. Assisting with IT budgeting, forecasting and cost management to optimize IT expenses.
3. Ensuring IT security policies are in place and continuously updated to protect company data from cyber
    threats by implementing firewalls, encryption and access controls.
4. Developing and implementing backup and recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of IT
    system failures and cyber attacks.
5. Establishing an incident response plan to handle IT emergencies and reduce downtime.
6. Overseeing cloud-based services, ensuring integration with on-premises systems and compliance with
    security best practices.
7. Identifying opportunities for process automation and digital transformation within the organization to
    improve efficiency.
8. Managing relationships with external IT service providers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring service
    level agreements are met.
9. Ensuring IT policies comply with legal and industry regulations, including data protection laws.
10 Ensuring all network systems (LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless) are operating efficiently and securely.
11.Developing appropriate computerized information systems to meet the needs of managers and staff.
12.Conducting regular system performance audits and recommending improvements for IT infrastructure.
13.Supervising the IT staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and that they carry
     out their responsibilities to the required standards and to ensure the efficient technical resolutions for all.
14. Establishing and maintaining all necessary information technology procedures and ensuring that all
      systems are supported by the necessary documentation and manuals.
15. Assisting in the definition of IT training needs and providing training as required to ensure the most
     cost effective use of computer systems.
16. Developing and delivering IT training programs to improve digital literacy and cyber security awareness
      among employees.
17. Identifying areas in which the introduction of new technology will improve business performance and
     assist managers.
18. Developing a programme of maintenance and support for all IT systems to ensure a minimum of
     downtime and fast resolution of any problems.
19. Providing a source of advice to managers and support staff on information technology issues.
20. Maintaining an awareness of new developments in information technology and ensures that the
      company makes the best use of any such developments.
