Sherwin-Williams Human Resources Manager - Jamaica
The Human Resources Manager for Jamaica District in the Southeastern Division contributes to Sherwin-Williams’ Area sales performance by providing human resources support to the Jamaica District Leadership and stores team, and throughout the remainder of the Caribbean Area; particularly in the areas of recruitment/selection, diversity and inclusion, training/development, talent management, performance management, compensation, succession planning and employee relations. The end result is that the assigned groups will have qualified employees to manage stores and territories. The incumbent will have a management style centered on good judgment, team building and accountability. This position is responsible for exercising independent judgement and decision-making pertaining to the management of HR related matters and is expected to making hiring, disciplinary action and/or termination recommendations when appropriate.
Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. FORMAL EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree (GENERALLY, IF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IS ACCEPTABLE, THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THREE YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE FOR EVERY ONE YEAR OF COLLEGE EDUCATION REQUIRED)
