We are hiring a Human Resources Manager for our client.

Position Goals:
 

  • To plan, organize, lead, and control the activities of the security area through a safety program to safeguard the physical integrity of individuals, facilities, procedures, and the finished product
  • To develop an awareness, prevention, and response training program to address changes that may affect the company; create a business environment that allows our company to operate safely and minimize economic loss or damage to it.
  • Establish global security alignments to ensure our Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Safety Policy is implemented in all distribution centers.
  • To ensure that all personnel are properly trained in all relevant processes and, when necessary, obtain the required certifications.



Specific Functions:
 

  • Performs risk assessments aligned with safety policies through a risk assessment.
  • Plans, develops, and implements procedures to obtain, maintain, secure, analyze, account for, and provide information from risk assessments and intelligence reports.
  • Prepares, evaluates, and implements risk assessments and reports to enhance physical security.
  • Leads the Crisis Management program.
  • Participates in the BCP (Business Continuity Plan) program.
  • Reports action plans to the SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) team.
  • Creates and updates process manuals focused on safety.
  • Validates information provided by auditors/training assistants/safety monitors, identifies root causes, and implements necessary countermeasures.
  • Conducts personal safety training for staff.
  • Designs and innovates improvement projects in Security.
  • Leads accident investigations in conjunction with the SHE team and recommends corrective measures.
  • Manages the security department's budget.
  • Establishes strong collaboration with the team, suppliers, and the private security team, negotiates better conditions, and works closely with the Purchasing, HR, and Operations departments.
  • Establishes and maintains contact with local, state, and federal law enforcement and emergency agencies.
  • Stays informed about local and international news, establishing security strategies to protect the operation.
  • Supports corporate events as a Security Auditor.




Qualifications/Skills:
 

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial safety.
  • Change management.
  • Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively.
  • In-depth industry knowledge.
  • Understanding of relevant health and safety regulations.
