The Human Resources Coordinator facilitates all key HR functions and programs, and ensures the support for the HR department’s operations to run smoothly and effectively.

The Human Resources Coordinator facilitates all key HR functions and programs, including employee engagement initiatives, training & development employee relations and labour related matters, compensation and benefits, performance management and administrative functions. The goal is to ensure the support for the HR department’s operations to run smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization.
Job Description:
Coordinate and execute employee engagement initiatives, training and development interventions while ensuring they remain current and are proactively managed to foster strong employee relations.
Update and maintain the employee reward and recognition, and communication platforms to enhance employee relations between the Company and workers.
Conduct monthly reviews of corporate training plan, update and follow through for execution of identified training needs, source vendors and coordinate training and development interventions.
Perform all stages of the recruitment cycle including employee orientation and onboarding of new hires; conduct exit interviews and off-boarding details as needed for seamless onboarding of new hires.
Assist in ER/IR matters, conduct investigations and prepare investigative reports to support the internal disciplinary process.
Maintain accurate records of employee information on the HRIS to preserve data integrity.
Coordinate and assist with the semi-annual and annual performance management process and procedure.
Oversee and administer employee benefit programs, conduct quarterly audits and reconciliations for compliance and accuracy for effective benefit administration.
Prepare various correspondences, reports and other documentation as required.
Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate health, safety, security and environmental policies and procedures.
Performs all other relevant duties as required to ensure optimum operation of the business.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Management or related discipline from a recognised, accredited institution.
3 years’ experience in the related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
Experience in using computerized HRIS software and MS Office Suite.
Certification in Industrial Relations or Labour Law in Trinidad and Tobago is an asset.
Knowledge of effective reward and recognition and communication strategies
