JOB SUMMARY

This position involves a range of responsibilities including Onboarding, Group Benefits, Recruitment and Selection as well as various other HR activities to support the company's objectives and foster a positive work environment.

 

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

 

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree/tertiary level training in Human Resource Management, Labour & Employment Relations or a related discipline from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) years experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a Human Resources Department
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Key competencies include but are not limited to:

  • Knowledge of labour laws, human resources policies, practices and procedures and employee relations initiatives
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, objectivity, and high ethical standards displayed
  • Excellent time management, team building, office management and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment process, including job postings, pre-interviews, and onboarding.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws.
  • Administer and manage employee benefits and employee records.
  • Support professional development initiatives and training programs.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement strategies and conflict resolution.
