  • Coordinates and conducts annual and ongoing training needs assessment to ensure that the skill sets of our employees consistently align with the evolving demands of our industry. This involves identifying gaps in knowledge and competencies and developing strategies to address these through tailored training programs.
  • Plans and administers comprehensive factory training and career development programs, designed to empower employees with the necessary knowledge and skills to thrive in their roles, while simultaneously fostering their personal growth and advancement within the organization.
  • Advises line managers and employees on the interpretation of HR policies, ensuring clarity and compliance with compensation and benefits programs, as well as various industrial relations practices, thereby enhancing the workplace environment and facilitating a smooth operational flow.
  • Assists with the negotiation of collective labour agreements, utilizing expertise to provide insightful advice on employee and labour relations that promote positive interactions and collaborative resolutions between management and staff.
  • Assists with the recruitment and hiring processes, focusing on identifying candidates who possess both the individual qualities and organizational alignment necessary to contribute positively to our workplace culture and operational goals.
  • Collaborates with the HR Manager to supervise and coordinate the administration of policies, ensuring that all operations within the Human Resources Department run smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis.
  • Consolidates HR reports that provide an overview of personnel metrics categorized by function and competencies, as well as tracking information related to staffing changes, thereby supporting informed decision-making and strategic workforce planning.
  • Applies and guides the implementation of training modules and Performance Management Systems focused on the development of our people, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Assists in the preparation of the annual HR and Administration budget, taking a lead role or providing support throughout associated audits to ensure compliance and optimal resource allocation.
  • Organizes and maintains an efficient filing system in close collaboration with HR staff, ensuring that all employee records and important documents are easily accessible and systematically archived.
  • Maintains and develops open lines of communication with employees within the factory, creating an inclusive environment where concerns can be raised and addressed promptly, reducing potential issues and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Leads or assists with the planning and coordination of employee recognition, motivation, and engagement functions, aiming to boost morale, enhance team spirit, and acknowledge the contributions of all employees.
  • Assists with the monitoring and evaluation of the service quality and performance of contractors assigned to Human Resource Development, ensuring that external partners align with our internal standards and contribute effectively to our goals.
  • Participates actively in Food Safety and S.H.E. (Safety, Health, and Environment) Programs as specified by the company, adhering to industry standards and regulations while promoting a culture of safety and well-being throughout the organization.
Requirements
 
  • A university degree in Human Resources Management or related field such as Business Administration, Industrial Relations or Psychology
  • 3 years’ experience in Industrial & Food manufacturing environment
