THIS POSITION IS OPEN ONLY TO NATIONALS OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO AND THOSE HOLDING VALID AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN THE COUNTRY.  MUST BE RESIDENT IN TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO.

Our client located in the EAST is looking for an Human Resource Manager. 


COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

 

Salary is between $18,000.00 TO $20,000.00 monthly


Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and
comply with labor laws and regulations.
2. Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting
interviews, and making hiring decisions.
3. Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for
new hires.
4. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters,
including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
5. Coordinate employee training and development initiatives to enhance skills and
knowledge across the organization.
6. Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans,
and other employee perks.
7. Manage employee relations issues, including grievances, complaints, and disputes, in
accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
8. Ensure compliance with all local employment laws and regulations, including wages.
9. Prepare and maintain HR-related documentation, such as employee handbooks, job
descriptions, and personnel files.
10. Stay informed about changes in labor laws and industry trends, and recommend
adjustments to HR policies and practices as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a
related field.
2. Professional certification in HR management is preferred.
3.At least seven (7) years in a similar position at a managerial level.
At least three (3) years direct Industrial Relations experience, including having worked
in a unionized environment.

5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust
with employees at all levels of the organization.
6. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on fairness and
equity.
7. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
8. Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other HR software
applications.

9. Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and develop a
high-performing HR team.
10. Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture that values and
respects all employees.
