The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource department.

 

HUMAN RESOURCE ASSISTANT - HSL 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

 

  1. Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. (Physical and Virtual) While ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  2. Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  3. Provides clerical support to the HR department. Eg. assists with the administration of NIS benefit for the Company through the registrations of all employees and assists ex-employees in the preparation of NIS claims.
  4. Assist with office activities and functions to maintain efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  5. May assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and verifying leave.
  6. Maintains a system for recording expenses and the use of petty cash.
  7. Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include but isn’t limited to health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
  8. Conducts or assists with new hire recruitment and orientation process.
  9. Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
  10. Assist the HR Manager in the administration of training and development initiatives.
  11. Performs other duties as assigned.
