Summary of Position:

The Housekeeper will be responsible for creating a clean and orderly environment for our guests. The incumbent will report directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Required Technical Competencies:

Education:

  • High school diploma

Experience:

  • Minimum of one (1) years experience in a similar position
  • Suitable combination of training and experience

Competency Level: Foundational
This requires a basic understanding of the bar structures, operations, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in controlling housekeeping inventory and equipment.
  • Maintain all regulatory and cleanliness requirements.

Accountabilities:

  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing.
  • Ensure all rooms and public areas are cared for and inspected according to standards.
  • Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
  • Ensure all needed equipment is available.
  • Notify superiors of any damages, deficits, and disturbances
  • Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Wash, label, and store linen and towels as per regulatory and company standards.
