The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will include:
Provide appropriate Help Desk support to users of JSIF computer system on a variety of issues by identifying, researching and resolving technical hardware & software problems virtually and/or physically.
Identify and log user needs/tickets, liaise with Programmers/Engineers to explain software errors and make recommendations regarding changes.
Create and run SQL queries to assess and analyse data from the corporate database for problem resolution.
Provide training and workshops for incumbents in the use of the organizations applications and computing equipment.
Develop, test, implement and maintain effective user and system help facilities.
Requirements:
At least a Degree in Software Engineering/Computer Studies or its equivalent.
At least 1 years’ experience in a similar or equivalent position.
Significant experience in use of Microsoft windows (Win10/11), database applications and the use of MS SQL query language.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, use of web browsers and Microsoft technologies.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Networks, their basic Operation, Administration and computing hardware repair.
Sound communication, interpersonal and exceptional customer service skills.
Well-honed Trouble shooting, Analytical and Problem solving skills
Ability to work under great pressure and independently or as a member of a team.
