Our client, the Trinidad and Tobago Trade and Investment Promotion Agency invites applicants for the position of Head, Talent Management.

Job Description

The Head, Talent Management strategically manages the Agency’s human capital to drive performance and achieve business objectives. This involves attracting, developing and retaining top talent and fostering a high-perfromance culture. This position is responsible for leadership development, succession planning, change management and collaboration with stakeholders to optimise the Agency’s workforce and enhance overall success. The incumbent ensures compliance and implementation of the Agency’s talent management function.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Resources, Business Administration. Organisational Psychology or related field from a recognised University  

  • Masters’s degree in Business Administration or related field

  • Professional Human Resources Management certification (e.g. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) would be an asset

  • 7-8 years’ experience at a managerial level in a Human Resource Management role

  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing HR Divisional Plans, Training Plans, managing and implementing Performance Management Systems and managing employee relations

Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop and implement talent management strategies that support the Agency’s strategic objectives

  • Develop HR policies and procedures to align with the Agency’s broader strategic goals and values

  • Design and oversee recruitment process strategies

  • Translate strategic HR policies and procedures into actionable steps for effective and consistent implementation

  • Develop, manage and administer Compensation and Benefits processes

  • Promote awareness and compliance to Human Resources standards, laws and best practice

  • Oversee the development and administration of training programmes for all staff to build intuitional capacity

  • Oversee and direct administration of organisation wide Performance Management
