Job Description
The Head - Investment Promotion & Facilitation is responsible for leading, directing and overseeing the local and foreign investment promotion and facilitation for the Agency as well as developing strategies for enhancing overall investor experience. This is primarily done through collaborating with the key stakeholders, devising country branding strategies and plans as well as policy advocacy towards the development of an enabling environment for investment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Economics or related field is essential
A Master’s degree would be an asset
7-8 years experience in investment sourcing and facilitation or related scope of work with demonstrated success in business development and in maintaining and building relationships with investors, clients, and joint venture partners
Extensive/Expert of Brand Development and Management
Extensive/Expert knowledge of Development Planning and Management
Specialist knowledge in international trade and trade finance
Lead and develop investment promotion strategies
Drive policy advocacy towards development of an enabling environment for investment
Draft and recommend operaional policy amendments
Lead and develop investment pipeline
Lead and direct programmes for increasing local and foreign direct investments
Lead and direct execution of investment promotion programmes, facilitation services and investor services
Plan, organise, direct and control the activities of the Division
Build and manage stakeholder relationships
Report on performance of strategy and strategic initiatives
Provide guidance and participate in performance management, coaching and development, and disciplinary proceedings
