HSE Coordinator

The HSE Coordinator assists with the development of the HSE plan; the setting of HSE performance indicators; the execution of HSE Audits and tracking and maintenance of HSE statistics.

HSE Coordinator – Montego Bay

The Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Coordinator assists with the development of the HSE plan; the setting of HSE performance indicators; the execution of HSE Audits and tracking and maintenance of HSE statistics.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Auditing the areas of responsibility to influence compliance to procedures and safe working conditions.
• Engaging area leadership to help determine the absence of safe work procedures and assist the process of developing and implementing same.
• Preparation of reports as is required by the HSE Manager.
• Monitoring Company policies and procedures to influence HSE and to conform with industry best practice.
• Has responsibility for the establishment and coordination of all emergency response systems and activities.
• Developing an understanding of processes and systems to be able to assess risks and make recommendations for improvements.

The successful candidate should have:

• A First Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an industrial environment preferably oil and gas.
• Able to conduct audits, job hazards analysis, training, risk management and procedure writing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
