In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining systems and ensuring data security by implementing access policies and user controls. You'll provide support, maintenance, and advice to users of system applications, acting as the primary point of contact for guidance on system functions and potential modifications.

KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintenance and support systems by monitoring system usage, backups, performance, and data integrity checks.
  • Testing the delivery of new courses/system. Involvement in projects to enhance, upgrade, develop or maintain the systems.
  • Technical Expertise and Collaboration: Acting as a knowledge resource, collecting system issues, liaising with developers, monitor developments. Handling data import/export and maximizing productivity using systems. You will be the first point of contact for all forms of guidance, advice, and provision of knowledge on systems.
  • Receipt and enter leave requests (sick, vacation, maternity, etc.) on system.
  • Filing leave records (sick, vacation, maternity, etc).
  • Maintain leave records physically and digitally.
  • Updating Employee (Officers) Tracker records.
  • Perform other related duties consistent with the category, nature, function and objective of the job
  • Act as the gatekeeper of the HR system backend, ensuring system integrity and managing user access levels.
  • Oversee the uploading and removal of training materials in the system to keep content current and relevant.
  • Develop and implement knowledge assessments and system-driven evaluation tools to measure learning outcomes.
  • Extract, manipulate, and analyze system data to provide actionable insights and reports.
  • Serve as the primary driver of the HR system, promoting its use and ensuring system adoption across all stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain familiarity with the Moodle interface, ensuring seamless integration with organizational needs.
  • Draft and implement training programs based on adult learning theories to maximize employee engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards. 

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Education Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle) and HRIS platforms.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization).
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools; familiarity with SQL or other database querying tools is a plus.
  • Experience in instructional design and implementing adult learning theories.
  • Certifications in HR systems, instructional design, or learning technologies are highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Collaborative mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit to drive innovation and continuous improvement. 

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in managing HR systems, learning management platforms, or data analysis within an HR or training environment.
  • Proven track record of supporting system administration, troubleshooting, and user training.
