The HR Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and optimizing the back-end administration of our SAP Compensation, Performance Management, and Employee Central modules.

Job Summary:

The HR Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and optimizing the back-end administration of our SAP Compensation, Performance Management, and Employee Central modules. The ideal incumbent will possess a deep understanding of SAP systems and demonstrate the ability to ensure seamless functionality through rigorous testing, updates, and reporting.

Job Description:

  • Administer and maintain the backend configuration and functionality of SAP Compensation, Performance Management, and Employee Central modules.
  • Ensure the integrity of data and system configurations, performing regular audits and updates as necessary.
  • Develop, execute, and oversee testing plans to validate system changes and updates, ensuring that all functionalities perform as intended.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues related to system configurations and performance.
  • Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to address and rectify system errors and inefficiencies.
  • Create, generate, analyze, and distribute various reports related to compensation, performance metrics, and employee data management.
  • Work with HR leadership to understand reporting needs and design tailored solutions to support decision-making.
  • Creation and continuous updating of Process Maps, Standard Operating Procedures, and supporting front and back-end usage documentation relating to SAP Compensation, Performance Management, and Employee Central modules
  • Serve as a liaison between HR, IT, and external stakeholders to facilitate system enhancements and integrations.
  • Provide training and support to HR teams on system functionalities and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively regarding system updates, training sessions, and relevant changes to ensure all users are informed.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Systems Administrator, particularly with SAP HR modules (Compensation, Performance Management, Employee Central).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in SAP reporting tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • SAP certification in relevant HR modules is an asset.
  • Familiarity with data integration methods and APIs for SAP systems.
  • Experience with project management methodologies.
